Went to Zulu records (on fourth av) for the first time today. Interesting place. They had a bunch of old arcade machines around the place although Pong appeared to be the only one that was functioning. Shit. Everything was so expensive. They have many somewhat difficult to find records, but it's so costly. (i.e., Dr. Octagon -Dr. Octagonecologyst = $27 + taxes. Pixies Live (2004) double album = $55 + taxes). Personally I buy on a case to case basis that's based on an illogical and contradictory rule set, but that's another story for another day. I ended up buying Sonic Youth - Goo ( modest $12) and a Nada Surf ticket ($20).
