Stream of consciousness
Not that I care because the Grammys and most award shows, because they’re are stupid, but here are some random thoughts. You know it’s a slow year when U2’s How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb wins album of the year. I actually liked the album, but it’s no album of the year. The production sounds so old; upon listening to Achtung Baby again, you’d think HTDAAB was released first. Late Registration is the better album. I might listen to Paul’s album eventually, but I have no intentions of listening to the other 2 album of the year nominees. Ever. Hollaback girl has got to be one of the stupidest songs I’ve ever heard. It’s 90% crap with a somewhat catchy hook if you’re a girl or have very bad taste in music. It’s a crying shame that The Arcade Fire didn’t win the alternative album award. Oh well, award shows are stupid anyways with the Grammys being the lowest of the low. I don’t understand why Kayne is so upset about not winning a Grammy. Chuck D said it best “Who gives a fuck about a God damn Grammy?”
