Notable picks
Tampa Bay vs. Atlanta
The Bucs should be able to make up for last week's disaster at Foxboro by winning and covering the spread. The Falcons have been very inconsistent and Mike Vick continues to suck.
Washington vs. New York (NYG)
Big NFC east match up. The Giants look to clinch the division, while the Skins are desperate to stay in the playoff hunt. Eli Manning has been slumping, but it doesn't really matter since Tiki Barber has been on fire. The G-men have also been rock solid on defense. Picking the Giants straight up and on the spread.
San Diego vs. Kansas City
Normally in a close match-up at arrowhead, I'd go with the Chiefs. However, I like the Chargers straight up and on the spread because they're coming off that huge win over the Colts. I think the Chargers aren't going to have anymore bad hiccups (ie. vs Miami)
Seattle vs. Indianapolis
Indy has locked up the #1 seed in the AFC.
Seattle hasn't locked up the #1 seed in the NFC.
I pick Seattle straight up only because Indy will be resting their starters at some point. But Indy is a much better team than Seattle, so they cover the spread.
