Up and down like Jowen's mom on elderly men
It's december 21, so that means it's time for UBC to release grades. And for the academically hopeless (ie. me), it's not exactly a jovial time. In EECE 263, despite knowing my shit, I managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by scoring well below the class average. Even though there's a decent cushion between me and 50%, it's pretty damn disheartening.So for whatever reason, I ended up doing a practice Mensa test.
So I'm feeling a bit better about myself. =D
Actually, I did 2 questions with pen and paper. The test never really specified whether this was legal and since it's hard me to do math with 16 different numbers and 8 equations ( "screw it, I'll use pen and paper. too many damn numbers"). And for the one question, I don't know my ABC's as well as I should.
No, I didn't cheat and I actually complied with the 30 minute time limit. C'mon now, I desperately need an ego boost right now.
Of the six I got wrong, 5 of them were dumb mistakes (one of them was because I accidentally wrote the wrong number down). Only the following question was insanely hard.
