YAY ME!
I was looking at someone else's blog and noted their lack of output for 2011. I became a bit curious and I looked at my own output for 2011, which also wasn't stellar. However I noticed this post from Jan 5, 2011:3 in a row
This past R&R, I saw three good to great films and 3 great Oscar-worthy performances.
Jeff Bridges in True Grit
Christian Bale in The Fighter
Natalie Portman in Black Swan
Check'em out.
All three went on to win an Oscar.
**edit 01/11/12 I realize now I had crossed some wires mentally. I was thinking of Jeff Bridges in Crazy Heart when I thought of his performance in True Grit.
