Heaven and Hell

Who: Black Sabbath / Heaven and Hell
Where: Pacific Coliseum
When: Mar 11, 2007 (Sunday)

How much: ~$45.50

My seat: Sec 4, Row 13, Seat 5 (way in the back, upper bowl)

Frankly I only attended out of guilt because Zach went to the Foo Fighters concert with me 2 years ago. Then again, Zach at least listened to the first two FF albums whereas the only thing I knew about Sabbath was 'Ironman'. Turns out, this wasn't the Ozzy Osbourne era of Black Sabbath, but rather the Ronnie Dio era.

And for whatever lame reason, the band would call themselves "Heaven and Hell" (1980 album) instead of Black Sabbath. Makes just as much sense as Nintendo switching their name to "Super Mario Bros. 3". Whatever

Anyhow, I've never listened to any Sabbath songs, so the songs had no meaning for me. It seemed alright upon first listen, but otherwise it was pretty boring for me. In the end, Zach said he liked the Foo Fighters concert better (which I thought was good if a bit uneven).

Ultimately a big waste of cash.
